I'm a MD resident.

A sporting goods store(dunhams) in PA has an sks i want , and its dirt cheap.

Can i go there and buy it? The only dunhams in MD is very very far away. Either states laws preventing me from doing this? Any good sites for gun laws?

Fellow MD'r here.
The SKS is a non-regulated weapon in MD, like a shotgun.
So you can go to a contiguous state and buy, no problem.
The store may not want to sell to you though.
MD'ers have that "stigma" about them.
