IIRC, to put a stock on it, you have to SBR it. Why didn't you SBR it in the first place? AOW is only good for one thing. If you don't want to put a stock on it, and you want a vert grip...and want to be able to transfer for $5.
I could be wrong. Research this more before you rely on my above statement. |

No. To qualify as an AOW, a receiver must never have had a buttstock fitted to it, and thus was never designed to be "shoulder-fired." Before you add that stock, you must re-register the AOW as an SBR and pay another $200 tax. Otherwise, your registered AOW becomes an unregistered SBR. |
