Is it legal to carry a Ka-Bar on your person in Florida in a sheath on your belt un-concealed?

I would say no, it would not be legal.  You could carry it concealed in conjunction with posession of a CCW licence that is in your name (FL licences people to carry weapons.....not just guns).

Check packing.org. They have blade lengths.

Actually since I'm bored, I'll do it for you.

No maximum blade length allowed for Florida law. In other words, you can carry a freakin' machette legally.

Whether or not some cop, who doesn't know the law, is going to charge you with "disturbing the peace" or some other bullshit, is all chance I suppose.
