I am relocating to Charleston, SC at the end of the month.  Does SC have any state or local requirments or limitations for ownership of rifles or handguns.

Not that I am aware of, other than C3 and that is said to be changing soon. Glove box carry is legal, shall issue CCW, pretty good laws overall.

Where ya gonna live there? I have friends in the area.

I don't know where I will be living yet but it will probably be in the West Ashley or James Island area.  I am flying down next weekend to look for an apartment.

Cool, if you go north on 17 through Mt. Pleasant there is a 100yd range in the National Forest, its about 30 minutes north of Charleston.
