Is it legal to ship a AR and  unmarked high cap mags to Connecticut (I think that only Colt marked ARs are banned there)

There are no ban's on high cap mags in CT.  As for the AR; as long as it is a 'post ban' type (the same as the expired federal law) it's OK to have.
