Need help getting pointed in the right direction

Now the AWB is DRT (dead right there), but the 89 import ban is still in effect, I would like to know what are the parameters of US parts v. foreign parts that define a US made rifle?

Im also aware of the 10 US part rule that allows Compensators/pistol grips, on imports, but my my goal is to get a US made reciever FN FAL/L1A1, G3/HK-91, AK-47 clone with the all the goodies.

Remember the B-West US reciever AK-47 assembled in AZ with foreign part that were available after the 89 ban? What part of 922 did it come under?

If you think about it, the 89 Import AWB can be circumvented by US made clones

Thanks in advance, mv
