Incorrect. You have to send it TO an FFL. But you can send it yourself. There is no federal requirement that says only an FFL holder can SHIP a firearm. Only an FFL holder can RECEIVE a firearm. |

Gloftoe has it right. But, make sure everyone you are dealing with understands the law including the receiving FFL. |
