Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Minimum Rifle Length?

I am building a 16" upper with launcher and will attach a collapsible style stock on in the closed position(fixed of course).  What must the overall length of the rifle be?  Thanks.

Minimum OAL of a rifle must be 26" for federal law. (I think some states like MI and Kali is 28" or 30")  Republic of Texas is 26"
