I am applying for my FFL license and was curious what a type 7 meant for me?  Will this allow me to manufacture firearms?

If I have a Type 7 can I still deal in firearms just like a Type 1?

yes and yes

Type 7 is $150 every 3 years
Type 1 is $200 first 3, $90/3 to renew after that
