Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Cleveland, Ohio and guns

Know that this is not exactly an AR-15 question, but I trust (most) of the advice given in this forum.  My daughter and son-in-law are moving to Cleveland this summer.  Son-in-law currently possesses a Mossberg 500, Remington 1100 shotguns, a Ruger 10/22 rifle, and a Berreta 92 semi-auto pistol.  What does he need to do in order to comply with applicable laws?  Also are there any suburbs he should avoid living in since, apparently, Ohio does not have a state pre-emption law like we do in Texas.  THANKS

Raised in Cleveland since '49 , moved 10 years ago since their ban on "assault" weapons. Most any suburb is much better on that subject. Had to register what I owned in cleveland too.I think they have a 10 round max cap on pistols. We have a few ranges around here (phone book)   Hope that helps you.                      (bring a snow shovel)
