I will be moving across country from GA to WA soon.
What is the best way to move my guns? They will be in the car with me, but should I keep them assembled or disassembled? All have lockable cases and trigger locks.

Put them in the trunk and go. As long as the "item(s)" are legal at point-A and Point-B, go on your way. As to travel through restriced areas, you are protected by the McClure-Vollmer Act, covers lawful transsport between 2 legal destinations.
