Believe me,it did not go to the Red Cross because of the problems they often had in the past, when donations were used too much at  THEIR DISCRETION(other programs),and not necessarily for what the money was specifically donated for!

So is appearances. I'm disappointed you needed to create a new nick to troll under, but such is life...

As for the funds, we're finalizing things now (with roughly 20+ knives unsold being added to the total) and will be sending the check out shortly.

Since you don't know why we did this I will enlighten you. We first wanted to honor our heros which we did with the hero rifles. I personally donated a hefty chunk to that because it's something I believed in. We also took up small contributions and since we weren't getting anywhere came up with the knife idea. Because CRKT was eager to work with us to raise the funds, we were able to sell the knives for a good price (below advertised price allowance) and put all the funds to charity. As we sell out of these knives, the price will go up to adjust accordingly. We also tried to setup a TShirt sale to raise funds, but time (or lack there-of) killed us, and so that project never took off.

Anyhow to recap, the funds are going out, and we still have about 20-25 knives left for those interested!!! [=D] (So go order them!)
