Mgf. from 1986-1996. Last suggested retail was $1003. Blue book is $900 at 100% and $725 for 98% per 22nd ed of Fjestad's Blue Book of Gun Values. Hope this helps. I have a series 70 blue model and I would not take $750 for it.

sounds like a fair price to me. Personally i'd look more towards kimbers unless you just have to have a colt.

FYI: My friend picked up a NIB Springfield Loaded V-12 (ported) SS with Adj sights for $650 yesterday at the Ft Worth Gun Show. |

Is $750 a fair price for a SS colt gold cup national match 1911 w/ adjustable sights. It is pretty much the "Stock" at. match gold cup. it has a 5inch barrel.
