I like the direction of the new dress blue uniform though. I might even buy one.

I received the Service A uniform along with the utility uniforms. I just gave them to my EOD buddy when I got out. I never even took the tags off. Apparently his unit wasn't on the ball when it came to getting uniforms for their guys.

Greens are still being issued at IET training (at Ft. Sill as of November). Component doesn't matter.

I hate everything about that drawing from the stupid beret, to the Marine Corps style rank, to the stupid four-finger Homer Simpsons hands. There is no redeeming quality at all and looks like a 7th grader drew it while sitting on the crapper between classes.

If "retro" is the way the Army is going to go I rather it go back 90 years to the style of General Pershing, pictured below.

Because it's not real..

The real 'new' dress uniform, is a slightly modified version of the (very) old blues.

And yes, no combat patch (last I heard).
