I have a rose of sharon to plant and don't know if I should plant it in full sun, part sun, ect, ect.

Rose of sharon are very tough plants.  They do prefer full sun will tolerate dappled shade.

BTW when they get mature they will readily volunteer and you can transplant the little sprouts and increase your flock.
