Here's the problem.......

Not shooting a good gun is like marrying a supermodel and not fucking her!

Quoted: The only safe queen I'll probably ever own. I keep saying to myself I'm gonna shoot it. I haven't been able to bring myself to deflower it. NIB - 1925 http://<a href=http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/717/rightside.jpg</a>" /> That is undescribable. I just want to be in it's presence. 1903/1908 is in my top 5 favorites. |

Drool!
You really should enjoy that fine piece and shoot it occassionally. Use lighter loads, aka handloads. |
|
Love the puglet pic^^^^
And OP, that pistola is super-fine! I wouldn't shoot it––just take it out (while wearing the white gloves) and fondle it every now and then. |
|
I love the printing on the inside of the box. Automatic Pistols Automatic Machine Guns, brings a tear to my eye.

That gun seriously needs to be sold to a museum and preserved for future generations.
I detest safe queens, as in un-fired thus USELESS guns, but that is a genuine historical artifact. |

I'm all for shooting guns no matter how much they cost, but NIB 1925? No way. That gun as way too much value.
|
|
C'mon.....I need alot more votes to justify my burning desire to shoot this goodie
Shooters, help me! |
|
Not only would I not shoot that, but I wouldn't handle it unless I was wearing white cotton gloves.

If you're not going to shoot it, sell it. That's what is going to happen after you're gone anyway. Someone else is going to have the pleasure of breaking its cherry while you're in the ground.
I find people who won't shoot their pistols amusing. They're like the people who own vintage cars and won't ever drive them. Those cars will be dust someday and so will your pistol. You can enjoy it or pass of the choice to let it decay without using it the way it was meant to the next guy. |
|
hold onto it, and sell it NIB in 2025
a gun is meant to be shot, but it's already been 85 years without being shot, its a collectors piece. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't have safe queens either. |
|
Wow, Like others I am not a collector, shooter only here, can't understand people who collect, but I respect that they have that choice, with that said...
DO NOT SHOOT THIS GUN What is the value on a piece like this? |
|
Quoted: WOW! DO NOT SHOOT! PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE WEAPON!!!!!!!!!!! |

Guns were meant to be shot. Put a couple rounds through it at least.

WOW! DO NOT SHOOT! Yes.....but the force is strong with this one man i have wanted one of those forever. All i ever find is some that would make good shooters though. Resist the urge to shoot it and buy a rough one and shoot it instead That thing is beautiful !!! |

WOW! DO NOT SHOOT! PLEASE STEP AWAY FROM THE WEAPON!!!!!!!!!!! I totally agree. I am normally someone who will shoot everything they get. I got an unfired S&W 27-2 in a trade. I wanted to shoot it, but I knew that there were people who would love to have in its original condition. So I traded it off to a S&W collector. The same is true with that gun. They aren't making any more and I bet there's not many that haven't been shot. I'd probably sit it in the safe for a while and sell it off at some point to someone who will appreciate it and not shoot it. Buy another one that's shooter quality to blast around with. |
