Hmmm.....hadn't thought of using energy drinks as a mixer. Will have to give your recipes a try.

Don't know if it qualifies as an "energy" drink, but Code Red Mountain Dew and Old Thompson will give you a kick in the nads. |

Years ago when I was younger and slightly more foolish I was needing a pick-me-up for a Sat. night.
So I grabbed a Jolt cola. You know the one, advertised as "All the sugar and twice the caffine." Being a drinking man too, why drink a cola straight when you can put some Jack Daniels in it? [b]WOW[/b] [shock] what a pick-me-up. It definatly lit the fires. But you start to OD after the third one.[:X*] |

Take a glass, pour in 3 shots of Gordon's Dry Gin, top with Red Bull...have 6 of these.....BLACK HOLE...wake up when the cows come home sticking their stupid heads through the wide open windows of your Mercedes Benz RV you somehow parked on a meadow next to a village in Germany....

I heard that mixing with energy drinks gives you a greater ability to consume more alcohol. Needless to say, I had to experiment for myself. It worked, and I way able to drink about 3-4 more drinks (over the course of a night of drinking) mixed with Red Bull than with no caffeine or energy drink. I can't remember exactly the physiological reasons that this works

I saw a story on the news a couple of months back saying that alcohol and energy drink mixers can be dangerous. Don't remember the details, and I don't know if it's true. Just food for thought.
I prefer coconut rum and coke, myself. [;)] I guess that's as close as I get. |
