*FUN POST* Ever watch a movie and think to yourself or say to your wife, "damn if that happened to us it would be over in 5 minutes." My vote for most fun would be:

THE BIRDS

CUJO. What a crock, the thought of being trapped in a car for days by a rabid St. Bernard. (this is the kind of thing only a gun hater could believe in) Hell, even without a gun, a few good licks to the head with that car door would have put him down. I would have been TEMPTING him to charge the car.

Night of, Dawn of, and/or Day of the Dead

Also, Blair Witch.

As my wife and I sat bored during Scream I leaned over to her and said "Jezus, doesn't anyone own a fvckin' gun anymore?"

She laughed so hard that everyone turned around and looked at us.

Most of them, IMHO.  I can't count the number of "psycho stalker" shows and movies I've momentarily channel-surfed past on TV where my first/last/only thought was, "ok, so shoot him, threat's gone, movie's over."

You guys are soooo full of shit. Have all of you forgotten that firearms and conventional weapons have no effect on the typical movie monster/villian/psycho??

You have to get them to fall from a high place and land on something sharp or catch themselves on fire or something.....Sheesh[rolleyes]

Gotta go with  Last Man on Earth.  Even Vincent Price couldn't kick their asses, even if Pres. Heston did ok in the remake (The Omega Man).

I'll second Dolomites vote for the Living Dead series too.

An American Werewolf in London (circa 1981?)
Can see me going to visit my English relatives now and getting bitten...in the land of bad gun laws. No silver bullets, either!
