Everything is internet radio these days. I used to find tons everywhere but ever since post Napster lawsuit I haven't found any. I want modern rock/alternative downloads that I can play even when not connected to the web using Winamp. What'a think?

I'm using grokster.com.  It allows downloads of just about everything...music, video, software, etc.

Try Internet relay chat (IRC). Or Newsgroups. Or Limewire. Or Gnutella.

How about usenet?

Usenet newsgroups still exist, and there is a ton of fileswapping that goes on there.  You can just pick up a download robot, like [url=http://www.newsbin.com/]Newsbin Pro[/url], and tell it to look at the newsgroup [blue]alt.binaries.sounds.mp3[/blue].  People post everything there, including a lot of "pre-release" recordings that won't be in the stores for another month. . . .

(Or better yet, try [blue]alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.wives[/blue]. [:D])

You just need an ISP with a decent newsfeed, or else you have to buy a newsfeed from someplace like [url]http://www.newsguy.com/[/url] or [url]http://www.altopia.com/[/url].
