the title completely turned me off. but i do seem to remmber from the previews that it was not a "war film". romance.

It is a very good movie about love (not romance, per se). It is not a war movie, really, except that soldiers are some of the main characters and the movie is set during a war. There is very little combat depicted, so don't go see it for that.

Pretty good movie..couple of war scenes with some Mauser/M44 type rifles. It does have a romance plot...good guy gets girl thing. Shows the WWII hatred between Greeks and Italians.
Over-all a good flick...I'd watch it again but, not buy it. [b][blue]NAKED[/blue][/b] |

Not bad for a chick flick. The war scenes were pretty good, and the bonus is that you actually get to see Penelope Cruz's boobs in the flesh.
