I recently inherited a little over $10k from my great aunt.   I don't really need the money right now, and I'd like to invest it in something like a piece of land.   I want something in north-central Arkansas b/c I will probably be working there when I get out of the Army in a few years.  

Specifically, I want the largest piece of land I can buy, which will probably be between 2-10 acres.   I'd like to be able to hunt it for now, and possibly develop it into a spot for a home in the distant future.   I also want the mineral rights on the land.

Problem is...I have no clue how to go about this.  I've never done anything like this before.  Where do I start?  Talk to a realtor?  or what?  Thanks in advance...
