I've been looking on Craigslist lately and I've seen a few mobile home manufactured housing trailer units, for $10,000 and under.  I've even seen them as low s $5000 or under.  Of course, they're 15 years old plus, but still.  That's damn cheap for two bedrooms, two baths, and a roof over your head.  Lot rent is usually about $300 a month and your only bill is electric and phone.  What say the hive on it?

Right now, my plan is to get conditioned and join the Air Force or Coast Guard, but if that doesn't work out or I decide against it, I'd need a backup plan.  Where I work, anything decent rents out for $600 a month plus, which is borderline unfordable for me, but with a trailer, I wouldn't have to share walls with anybody else and I'd actually own it, plus I'd have some privacy.  Of course, there's always my Escort to live a life of pseudo vagrancy in if neither of those work out.
