Post the biggest BS story you've ever heard.

Oh yeah, M-16's stamped "Mattel" and the ubiquitous "I shot me as deer at over 1000 yards!" have already been taken.

taliban fighters using 50 BMGs purchased in US.

here is a GREAT one.

some dumb bitch was telling people around here her daughter was on an airliner (during antrax scares) that had a antrax attack. thier was white poweder everywhere, and she had to get cipro(or whatever the hell its called). she was OUTRAGED that the news was ignoring this inncident, even though 200 some people got pulmonary antrax over it. the WORST part of this story is the fact that i had to spend an hour convincing somone that it isnt true.

Whats the story about Mattle toy.  Was it that Mattle was contracted to produce the stock and handguards for the early models?  Thats what I heard on TV about a show on M16s.

I am a security guard at the mall. I wear ninja shoes (so I can climb the walls), body armor (so the shoppers won't kill me when I'm done for the day), a Glock 18 on my ankle, a Desert Eagle .50 on my side, an MP5K with a grenade launcher mounted underneath slung on my back, and I carry around a briefcase which has a concealed full auto MAC10 like James Bond has. I have this really cool job.

I had just one of those M16's ,and it wasn't made by mattel.  I was made by intel, and it got you with trojan virus 2 round bursts, yeh you had to reboot for it to get you.......bad s/it too....

I have one of those Mattel M16s with the bullet flipper modification on the front (AKA flash suppressor), which flips the bullet when leaving the gun, hitting the target and tearing off large body parts.

Well, my rifled shotgun shoots those new Sabot bullets that will turn to hit the target every time!!  The bullet also bounces around inside the chest cavity for max tissue damage, but can pierce armored Hummers too, while watching out for little children.

Things will be a lot better for the workers if the employees can deal directly with the company, without interference from the union.

I've used these 3:
I love you.
The check's in the mail.
I won't come in your mouth.

If we pass this gun law, we'll all be safer.

There are no plans to lay anyone off.

We're going to buy out HK.

I'm taking full responsibility for Waco.

FBI did not fire.

They had a drug lab in there.

We dropped a carton and where it broke you could see a grenade inside.

They had automatic weapons.

They were abusing the children.

It was just Nichols and McVeigh.

Republican John McCain.

We can still be friends.
I didn't mean for it to happen, it just did.

Secure against unexpected movement.
(If you are securing against it, then you expected it to move, so it's not unexpected....
never mind.)

We can have an amicable divorce.

#1) That pearl harbor was a "surprise attack".
#2) That Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK alone.
#3) That Lon Horiuchi committed no crime.
#4) That ATF "had" to do a tactical raid on the branch davidians.
#5) That the FBI "had" to gas the above davidians.
#6) That the sole cause of the crash of flt 800 was a "center fuel tank explosion".
#7) That the only reason the Arabs hit wtc was because they don't "like" us.
#8) That gun control is "for the children", and to protect us from "criminals".
#9) That the "war on drugs" is really about drugs.

Theres more, but some would say I'm just paranoid.....[:D]

"Honey, trust me.  You can't get pregnant at this time of your monthly cycle, so I don't NEED a rubber."

"Guns are evil."

Any politician who says 'trust me.'

"Take away all the guns, and crime will stop."

"Honesh, ocifer, i washnt drinkin!  Burp!"

"I have no clear recollection of that, Senator."

"Read my lips.  NO NEW TAXES."

I've got a revolver chambered in .30-06 and it doesn't kick much.

ANY words that come out of a BATF agent's mouth unless he's under oath, in which case it's only HALF of them.

"It all depends on what the definition of the word 'is' is."

"We come in peace!"...Hernando Cortez, upon landing in Mexico

"This won't hurt a bit."...your doctor

"Don't worry about that fart.  My farts don't smell."

"No, you don't have to clean this rifle, not ever!"

"We'll take care of everything."...your insurance company

"Our elected representatives actually represent the will of the people."

And the big lie to beat them all...

"The war on drugs serves a useful purpose."

Any story that starts with,

and

"I sighted in my .50 caliber muzzleloader last night.  Sighted in 1/2" high at 100 yards with Buffalo bullets, it's dead on at 200..."

Some older gentleman calls our shop, my boss answers the phone.

"Do you have ammunition for the english rifle?"

My boss thinking it must an Enfield variation since they are the most common "english" rifle here....

"If you have some variation of the Enfield rifle, then yes we have .303 British ammunition"

"No no...this the Westinghouse...made in New England"

Well...at this point my boss was already thinking there must be a good story in this one. [:)]

"Yes, we have the 7.62x53R ammunition for that rifle"

"Ill come around and buy some then, bye"

"Your welcome"

The man comes to the shop, buys some ammo, then proceeds to tell the story about the "english" rifle.

"Well, when i bought this rifle, i got a call from the police chief to come by the station, i was thinking i might be in somekind of trouble. The chief said he personally asked me to come since i had such a rare rifle"

and then the guy told that the chief had said only 200 rifles were shipped here, 20 stayed in country, the rest were turned from the harbor. Well, the story gets better, apparently the rifles were made prior to the Normandy invasion...you know for Hitler´s demise...lmao

My boss didnt want to take one Westinghouse from the shelf and point out the manufacture date of 1916, the Allies must have had a crystal ball to spot Hitlers intentions that early [:D]

Another great common urban legends concern the Sten SMG, most of these originate from our army. The best ones are;

-It has no rifling and is very dangerous to shoot.
-Each man carried 5 or 6 of these at the Normandy invasion, with mags welded in place....????????WTF
-The SMGs sold to our army were collected from the French coast.....
