I was talking to my fellow coworkers about the report yesterday out of Russia about Obama stacking 1 million plus troops in the US to quell a possible civil war due to the economy tanking next year, and my coworker immediately states the following:

"The only reason why America would have a civil war is because Fox news is full of idiots - because they aren't fair and balanced like they say. Everything they report is pro-republican."

I was speechless.

Literate much? It was a Russian article from a Russian news source, posted here on Arfcom multiple times yesterday. I was speaking to them in context of the article, concerning how Russia would know about economic failure and civil war.

I watch both and then form my own opinion. Joe Scarborough has been bashing Obama for a few weeks now. My favorite was that Obama doesn't care if the health care bill works he just wants to say he passed it, get re-elected and let the next pres. deal with it in 2016.

Can't bring myself to watch CNN though.

You people in urban areas are surrounded by HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS (if not MILLIONS of people just like this).

It was the cold, sobering reality of that thought which caused me to bug out. Obama was a virtual unknown then and his bullshit years away. I was afraid of being in earthquake and fire country surrounded by functionally illiterate masses.

Plan, prep, do everything right and end up dying because of some mouth-breathing American Idol fan (or a few hundred of his buddies) turn into mindless sheep... well.. MORE mindless than usual when TSHTF.

Besides, given the population density and terrain here, I can defend myself with a LOT less ammo than I could in San Diego.
