[b]Oscar-Winning Animator Chuck Jones Dies[/b]

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Legendary animator Chuck Jones, who helped bring to life beloved cartoon characters including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Road Runner, died on Friday of congestive heart failure at his California home, his family said. He was 89.
The prolific Jones created more than 300 animated films, winning three Academy Awards as a director and an honorary Oscar for lifetime achievement.
Jones animated many of Warner Bros. most famous characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd and Porky Pig. He personally created the characters of Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote and Pepe le Pew.
During a career spanning more than 60 years, he also produced, directed and wrote the screenplay for the television classic "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas."
He died at his home in Corona del Mar, California.
