I picked it up about a week ago too it’s great! It doesn’t have the blood like other games so I guess it would be like the demo; myself I could care less either way, blood or no blood.

This game does get the heart pumping, though it seems as if the player is a little shorter than what I am used to with Rainbow 6. Anyone else notice that?

Where and when do we get a pick up game for multiplayer for ar15.com? Anyone interested drop me an e-mail and we’ll try to get one going.

There is an unofficial patch you can use to get blood in the game.
Here is the Link.  Just goto the PC game index and it should be there, as well as a few other cracks.

FYI
I noticed Walmart had the game for about 10 bucks cheaper than anywhere else

EXCELLENT game... I had beat it on normal a week before it was even released... heheheh

I'm into playing multiplayer through Gamespy.

I love the game, love the Garand and Thompson...

my only complaints are:
The Garand is too weak and not accurate enough, the StG44 is too powerful and too accurate.
They should have used the G43 instead of the KAR98 for the German rifle.  Both the KAR 98 sniper and '03 are good.

Sniping with the BAR is fun (yes, it is possible)

Someone might have to start an AR15.com MOH:AA server sometime!

(edited to add:  I get on Gamespy as Cpl Punishment)

Its been a couple of years since I last posted here.  Things sure have changed!

Medal of Honor looks like Saving Private Ryan probably because Capt. Dale Dye was a consultant for the movie and MOH game.  I've almost finished finished the game.  It's the best game since Half-Life.

Shok

I played on a server last night that had a "realism" mod installed.  Made the Garand and KAR98 more powerful.  Also made it easier to die, but was a lot more realistic.

I was on one server last week that had the damage dealt out by some of the weapons pumped way up and removed the limits on mag size so there were 999 rounds in a magazine.  They also had the cyclic rate on the shotgun removed so it would shoot as fast as you could click the mouse.  Lots of fun and I wish I could find the server again.  The Garand totally dominated on that server.

The realism helps a lot as far as damage goes. I like using the Garand as much as possible... in any game setting, a headshot kills... hehehe

The other one, with the 999 rounds and no reloads, they call the 'Jedi Mod', or that's what one guy called it... all of the rifles are semi, and they all have alternate fire as the scope (so you can use a Garand with a scope), and even the machine guns have a scope.  (that started me on sniping with the BAR...)

I love that game... I hope they continue to build on the MoH line and come out with some new missions or new games.

A Vietnam MoH would be nice...

No one has made a good Vietnam combat sim yet.

.45, Shotgun, M-16, M-14, M-21, Pre 64 Win 70, M79 and M60. He he.
And for explosives: HE grenade, Smoke grenade (couldn't one of these programmers figure out how to program smoke grenades?), Claymore, LAW.

Oh and heres one for realism. Since most types of rifle already have 2 modes, semi and full, give the M79 2 modes too, HE and Shot. For that matter give the 12ga Shot and Slug modes too.  Whoo that would be fun

There are about half dozen blood mods out there. i tried out a couple of 'em and found one that lets blood splatter on walls like in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I should try out the Realism mod if it can be used in SP mode.

There is a Veitnam Mod in the works for Operation Flashpoint. complete with "Gooks", Jungle type terrain and the SKS. This will likely be the first game to feature an SKS as a weapon.
