They couldn't turn a profit no matter how many people supported them...

If they went out of business in 2 months, how is that a benefit (to anyone)?

I buy US when it is reasonable but there are too many union pigs involved in US mfg.  I refuse to pay $10 for a $1 item because of union thuggery when I know that $5 of it will go directly into Dempcrap coffers.

They'd have to change their name. Maybe to something like Kreske or something.

Well said brother. I was having T-shirts made of for my local GOP group and wanted to use US made tee's. The only ones my maker could get were union made tee's that were more than twice the cost of (unfinished) of finished imported ones. Needless to say I could not afford to use the US made tee's. F'n unions.

I disagree with those who believe US firms are unable to compete with foreign manufacturers. There are more and more US companies doing just that. FIrms that make good products at a competitive price. Peabody Rifles and American Apparel immediately come to mind and we could all name many more if we set about doing so. I'm not saying we can compete with everything, of course, but I am certainly saying that we can compete in most areas.

they wouldn't be able to, because by extension, sears would have to go all-american as well.  unfortunately, it's not fanancially viable for sears holdings to do such a thing.

I would support them totally and do my shopping there (if they were in my area)...but would have to find new store in a couple months after they went under.

The argument would be that the consumer would have a job to buy the American made dog shit.

In Bowling for Columbine Michael Moore pulled one of his protest stunts at K-Marts headquarters, after one whole day K-Mart stopped selling handgun and centerfire rifle ammunition, they still sell 22 and shotgun ammo I think. It was the most spineless thing I'd ever seen.

K-Mart Sucks for real,Those idiots will not take a Business check WTF , Guess what they told me that and I haven't been back unless its a impossible situation when I cannot go any where else. Sears is no better their Big Brother, I used to buy nothing but Craftsmen and they've gone to shit. Give you a hard time and don't return like they used to. I do not go to either

I would support them with a passion. However this is not possible. Most if not all of their products are made overseas. For instance Levi does not make jeans in this country. Also, socks, almost of that is gone from this country. Electroinics, name me a tv or cd player made here in the US of A.

Kmart pulled out of the Ft. Worth-Dallas area several years ago. The nearest Kmart to me is in Killeen, 150 miles away. Used to be a nice alternative to Walmart.

Bankrupt and completely out of business within a year...

And no, I would not support them...

1) 'Union made with pride' makes me put it back on the shelf...

2) Prices above Wal-Mart make me go to Wal Mart, for the sorts of things that WalMart/K-Mart/Target sell...
