Cool story. I hate the NL, but I hate the yankees more so I was with the phillies on this one. Oh well.
|
|
Even as a diehard Sox fan, I'm okay with this. It doesn't sound like George Steinbrenner is doing to well, glad he got to see his team win.

WOOT...Good job Yankees..
And for those that don't know this.....the Yankee's train here in Tampa, and have a nice stadium here...unlike the Rays who play in St. Pete and train in Port Charolet or some shit like that. |
|
It was a good series. The Phillies had heart but the Yanks were better.
GO YANKEES!!!!!!!! |
|
Great Series I can sleep peacefully today.Suffered in 2001,2003 and 2004.2009 it's time to celebrate again.Been a Yankees fan since 77.

Congratulations but I still hate New York and the Yankees! Might be the fact I grew-up in Philly has something to do with it..

I hope the whole team dies in a plane crash.
That's how much I despise the Yankees. Congrats on buying another Championship. |

However, when my right hand formed in my mother's womb it was clutching a Yankee pendant. True story, she said it was pretty painful when I was born. *shrug* |

Well yea, when you have enough money to buy the world you can win the world series. Didnt they spend like 400mil on just 3 players alone?
Edit: I obviously didnt read any posts above me. |

Oh, I guess that means you can't just buy a championship, huh? Yankee haters are some of the most ignorant people on the face of the Earth, logic completely eludes them. |
