Took me nearly three months to get over it.

It's not the virus that's the problem. Like the 1918 pandemic flu (antibodies for the 1918 flu will immunize you from H1N1 and vice versa), the virus only weakens you enough that a bacterial infection can kill you. I had fluid in my lungs for 10 weeks, and had a fever for much of that time. I got it in August and am only in the last month being able to go up stairs without being out of breath.

Sorry you are sick

Hope you feel beter, drink lots of liquids and take it easy. I hear you about getting sick in the beginning of the work week, I have been lucky when getting the flu and went in on monday and out for a week. But if I get sick with anything else its always on friday

yeah I love that!

swine flu is not bad at all, burns hot, makes you achy, but it responds well to motrin. It's the least painful flu I've been through.
