Just switched to FF from IE8 last week. Loving the speed. What took me so damn long?

Firefox on my laptop, IE at work.
Firefox has a nice add on called "unlinker" which displays pictures posted in threads instead of making you click on the individual links which I think is pretty cool. |

Quoted: Firefox most of the time, IE sometimes for work related websites. Firefox mostly, college has some class components that only work with IE. |

Opera. Firefox only if I need to. Why Opera? I prefer it. It lets me close it out and then open it back up to exactly where I was, reopen tabs I'd previously closed within the same session, and I'm used to all the keyboard shortcuts. Maybe Firefox has add-ons that would let me change it how I like, but Opera runs just the way I like right as soon as it's installed. |

Firefox with the language translation extension...for those tough words.

Maybe Firefox has add-ons that would let me change it how I like, but Opera runs just the way I like right as soon as it's installed. Opera is also a TON faster than FF with a smaller memory footprint. I've tried really hard to get FF to work the way I want it to, but Opera just seems to be designed right. With 9.2 compatibility mode on, anyway.. can't figure out why they disabled all the useful keyboard shortcuts after that version. ETA: All of the awesome features of opera eventually get ported to FF and chrome (unclose tabs, speed dial, mouse gestures, etc). Opera can also hand off flash players between processes without restarting the movie - this is something that no other browser can do. (Start a youtube video, then open a new FF window, draw the youtube tab to the new browser window). |

For the guys using Fire Fox, do you delete everything that has anything to do with EE and use FF?

Quoted: For the guys using Fire Fox, do you delete everything that has anything to do with EE and use FF? no because there are some windows processes that require it. but I have made FF the default browser and deleted the IE shortcut. |
