In the undying effort not to disappoint anyone’s suspicion about how today’s youth is spirling into the abyss of stupidity... I just had a "college age" student.. during our discussion on the Depression tell me the CCC was the Civilian CONGREGATION Corps....groan
Can I have a Hallelujah and a big Amen, behind that pick ax and shovel?

I am not suggesting that there aren't some dumbasses out there. But, you are getting a bit nit-picky. Your student got pretty close. She could easily be a member of a conservative congregation.
