Ok, it's time to purchase a new weapon. On the table we have a Howa 1500 .308 bolt action w/ Millet Tactical Rifle Scope and harris bi-pod. Or a Sig P220 .45, extra 2 mags, and holster.
Now, I love 'precision' rifles and also enjoy pistols. So I would be ok with either one. The option to get both 100% does NOT exist. Believe me, I wish it did.
I'm taking some antis and some new shooters up to a desert shoot to learn them the ropes, which leads me more towards a pistol as it would be more enjoyable/easier to shoot for them than a bolt gun.
At the same time, I'd like to have a long range gun up there to do some, well duh, long range shooting.
So, basically, what would YOU rather take up/shoot on?
I have so far going up:
AR
SKS
12GA
.22 Rifle
I'm thinking a pistol would fit nicely into that group, but I just can't decide!
