I loved mine so much, that I pulled them off my computer, and run them as my home entertainment speakers. They are excellent for the price.
ETA: And, they will blow the windows out of her room, if that's what she's going for. IIRC, they're rated up to 121 dB's, and are THX certified. I've never even gotten mine close to full volume, and generally run the sub at 1/3rd-1/2 power. |

Wow, I just googled these and they look really capable.........maybe liking putting a 350 into a Yugo.

Get her some nice headphones
But if you want speakers, I have a logitech system with 2 speakers and a sub. I got it from BestBuy for about $80 and it sounds pretty good, better than my brothers Bose system. |
