the best I ever heard it sung was a by an old man that was shot and bayoneted and left for dead on Iwo Jima, he had a voice like gravel from the bayonet wounds but he sung it with all his might in that hot little church on the 4th of July.
Eddy was his first name and its something I will never forget |
