This is my floor plan...(not scale)



The wall with the "X" is what my wife calls the accent wall...it's currently a shade of gold.

The rest of the area is white.

I'm getting ready to paint and I'm having a hard time figuring out how to bring color into the area. I really don't want to paint everything the same but how would I divide the rooms since you can see the LR from the kitchen and vice versa.

Any ideas?

hire a designer, pick a palette of colors to work from, and do what they say.
