I finally came up with a way to show off some hollowpoints. The woodburning turned out to be harder then I was expecting, and came out so so.

cool, the only thing cooler to do with
hollow points I can think of is pics of them shoot into ballistic gel side by side. |

I shot them into gallons of water.
The wood started out in pretty bad shape and made it difficult to work with, but I wanted that rustic look. |

That UMC expanded really uniformly, interesting.

To my untrained eye, 9mm ball and 9mm TAP look pretty similar. The ball is just a little more flattened across the top. Perhaps I should start rethinking my carry ammo?
Edit:I have to comment on the Ranger .45. That is absolutely nightmarish-looking. |

The .45 Ranger is awsome looking. That is one of the nicest
expansion samples I have seen in .45. Great project. It looks real good. Maybe some darker wood stain around the frame? |
