Now let's get into equipment, and I'll do these very quickly. First of all, almost to a man we think that the new M16––the modified M16 rifle––is the best infantry weapon that any of us have ever seen. It is reliable, it is accurate, and it just couldn't be much better as far as I'm concerned. The enemy agree, I think, because we have seen several examples of the exchange of AK 47's for M16s. The M-60 machine gun is a reliable weapon, as is the M-79.
