I normally wouldn't ask this here, but I need a fast answer......

How can I tell the difference between a Mil-Spec buffer tube vs. a Commercial buffer tube,  just by looking at them?

Is the Commercial buffer tube slanted at the end, and the Mil-Spec buffer tube is not?

Thanks very much everyone,

Search.  This was asked just a week or so ago.

Short version:
milspec has raised threads.
commercial has engraved threads.
