Very cool!  The only thing I would change would be to chrome line the barrel.

So is this it then?  The group purchase is now good to go, cocked locked and ready to rock? [:)]

Now I'm really sad. [:(]

I'm short on cash until I graduate in June.  If there are some of these rifles still around by then, I know what part of my hiring bonus will be going towards!

Well I can tell you there won't be any around.  30 days from today the orders stop and that is it.  Sorry, maybe you can come up with it in 30 days.

X-Ring, what can you tell me about the OKO red-dot sight mated with this rifle? Are any additional accessories required to mount it? If so, does the front sight interfere?

Also, has Col. Santose chimed in with his opinion of this rifle/setup?

wakebrdr,
antiUSSA know more about these sights than me but I can tell you I will be getting one at that price.  I do know they are very good sights for the money and that the mounting claw comes with the sight.  Post your question in the Group Purchase Forum to get a more opinions of this sight.

I'm happy with the way the order turned out.

Oscar let me know what you wanna get rid of [;D].  I see you are from CT.  I am handling a transfer for another GP rifle from CT.  Maybe you guys could make it a road trip together and we could have a shoot?  Just an idea.  Enjoy.

X-Ring E-mail me with details. I thought I had to use a CT dealer for the transfer. I live in S.E. CT near casinos. I'm willing to take a carpool to Maine if someone else drives, I get lost going around the corner.[:)]

Hey, nothing wrong w/ asking for quote.  It's like the (govt-ick) when they get bids, get as many as you can, see who meets your specs, test what they send and choose.

Now, what other accessories to get.......

Now I forgot to ask this question, but I might as well.  Well RRA mag well accept the Ramline combo mags?  Or will I have to increase my collection of mags again.  Just a little Q....

Guns_equal_Freedom,
You may find this funny but that "turd biscut" company you are talking about sent the second best sample.  It was better than both the Eagle and the Oly.

Kaliburz,
Your Ramline mags should fit in the magwell fine, but I would get some more mags anyways. [;)]

Well, I guess you never know what a company will do to get your $$$$, even if it means making a good product.

X-Ring:  You're not helping.  I'm trying to talk myself out of getting the Beta C.....

Kaliburz,
Oh those Beta-C's are nice.  They are big money but they are by far the best.  I wouldn't buy any other drum other than a Beta-C because they are the only ones you can trust to work.  If you got the money I would consider it.

Aww hell, is it absolutely mandatory that you have to buy a gun to be able to buy a beta c-mag?

Imbrog|io,
Sorry, but Yes.  There is a limited quantity on some items and it is only fair that people who buy the rifle get the opportunity to get the accessories.

Would it be ok if someone buying a rifle bought a c mag for someone else?

You mean you've spent all your Financial Aid?
TSKTSK, Try getting a loan with your hiring

You have a couple of options:

1) Place order online & mail payment to arrive in 7 days.  This would get you a lower edition number.

2) Place order before the end of April & then send payment to arrive within 7 days. This is provided we haven't reached the end of the limit by then.

You can use credit cards but with a 4% surcharge

I'm in the market to purchase an AR15 since some sorry joker broke into my place last week and stole my pre-ban Mini14.  I've read quite a few of the postings; however, I haven't really seen any of the downsides of this limited edition less the fact that it doesn't have a chrome lined barrel.  It was always my view that the chrome lined barrels in fact reduced accuracy.  How does this rifle fare against the OLY CAR97 model?  Don't flame me guys I'm just asking.
Link Posted: 3/20/2001 11:56:30 AM EDT
[#49]
Don't worry about the chrome lined bbl. A normal bbl is in fact normally more acurate. I personally think that RRA has a nicer product than OLY. Now that is just one mans opinion. I think it is one hell of a rifle for the money. Just remember it will give you first crack at next years model if you get it this year. [:)]

Thanks Medic08.  Here's another question to ALL.  What kind of warranty does RRA have on their rifles and how is the Customer Service?
