When you have a strong, though subtle, anti-American agenda it is difficult to find footing during a period of strong nationalism.  This particular period in history seems to have left them flummoxed.  Good.

Mr Douchele keeps giving us history lessons about the "evils" of deficit spending but he conveniently forgets about what happens when you sit on your thumbs and vassilate with  negotiations and capitulations. All the while terrorists continue to bomb the crap out of our embassies and servicemen overseas, gaining confidence, expertice and aggression each time.
