Just tell everybody it's custom "stippling" you did with a soldering iron.

Nice African Grey. Does it talk yet?
I have a feeling its first words mimiced will be: "Oh, that motherfucking bird!" |
|
Don't understand why someone would have a pet bird. The thing has wings and was born to fly.. why confine it to a cage?

Kill the bird. This, and make a Dinner Pic thread out of it. |

Well, apparently the bird understands some safety since it didn't discharge...which would have been interesting to explain to folks.

I thought it was funny until i saw it was CT grip.
now it's hysterical! |

If his beak would have squeezed that trigger and the trigger guard there would have been a kaboom. They are pretty strong and there is no doubt in my mind he could have bit the trigger hard enough to discharge the weapon.

This is the first thing I thought.

I bet your dog ate your homework a lot when you were a child too.

Still looks better than some glock custom frame jobs I've seen.

The best dinner pic in the making.... May I suggest BACON as a wrap???

I feel your pain: I have a blue fronted amazon and he tears stuff up all the time: phones, blinds, etc. I found him in a parking lot over 20 yrs ago and I am convinced he did not get away from someone: someone opened the window and told him to GTFO.

Nice African Grey. Does it talk yet? I have a feeling its first words mimiced will be: "Oh, that motherfucking bird!" Oh yeah, he says over 100 words/sounds. Well, I stopped counting after 100 anyway. I've had him about 3 years, he's my bestest friend. And he's only about 8 or 9 years old, so hopefully he'll live just as long as I do, if not longer. As for GC7, I totally agree that it's mean to have a bird and not let them out. My bird flies around the house quite regularly. Anytime we're home, he's out of the cage. In fact, he used to not even have a cage, he just lived on his big wooden perch. But, he eventually got bold and started getting into trouble while we were gone. |

So my girlfriend and I jumped in the shower after work, and forgot to put the bird away. Nobody's asked the important question: Where's the pics of the GF? Preferably in the shower |
|
Would have been a real shame if it bit the trigger and shot its self

Don't get me wrong, I fully admit that it's possible. However, if you watch how most birds "play" with things they don't really squeeze like that. They nip and "bite and release" so to speak. At least the birds I've personally had and other's I've been around don't. And actually, being double action only with a pretty heavy trigger pull, he'd have to really try. African Greys have strong beaks, but they're not bone crushing or anything. Anyway, just wanted to address that I did think about that scenario and whatnot, and although it's hard to explain why, I'm just trying to say it's pretty unlikely. For my bird anyway. |
