Good stuff.  Are the mission symbols for the current Afghanistan campaign?  Thought the only AF assets being deployed were B52s, B1s and B2s?

You can either post a link using the "url" tag or you need to already have the pic on a webserver, then you can include it using the "img" tags.

If you take my first post and hit reply with quote - don't actually reply but study the way the "IMG" tag is used. Tags have the square brackets around them. You put the "address" of your pic between the tags. To determine the address of your pic first bring it up on your computer full size, then right click, you will then see the 'address'..hope this helps...

Hi all

These aircraft are from my Squadron (391st Fighter Squadron).

Here's a little gee-whiz info;

These examples were all hand drawn with grease pencils or china markers.
The "Never Forget" logo is a painted stencil.

Yes, these represent "Enduring Freedom" sorties.
The different bomb silouettes represent different missions/munitions.

The tiger in the second photo represents our mascot; The BOLD TIGERS

The eagle head is a standard part of the authorized USAF F15 paint scheme. The block behind it normally contains the names of the pilot and weapon system officer assigned to that aircraft. The boxes have no names because they are "sanitized", in theatre.

Sadly, since they are not authorized markings, they are all removed when the aircraft are returned to the states. We normally photograph and catalog all nose art when we go back to the world.
