Going to make some sauce for some meat later on tonight. Which is better/easier to make? And does anyone have any great recipes for either?

If it's pulled pork use a vinegar base.

After the savage beating we put on north Texas today, I say sweet sauce is in order. Also because I'm not doing pulled pork. Haha roll tide!

I'm the only person in Mississippi that likes it sweet.  My homemade BBQ sauce is honey based with a mix of Louisiana spices.

Honestly, I love all forms of good BBQ and enjoy all forms of its wonderful sauces.

I would suggest the vinegar based sauce, but only because I have a bit of a craving for it right now.

Never have liked the sweet sauces.  Vinegar & mustard, especially if pork.

Offhand, I would say vinegar for pork, sweet for beef.

Vinegar is an excellent cleaning product –– kills germs.
I'm not too wild about cleaning solution on my meat.

ETA –– That didn't come out right!  I mean "on my food."

I'm not a communist.

Is it all/nothing, or any-of-the-above?

Here you go:

2 cups cider vinegar
2 cups catsup
6 tablespoons worcestershire
2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon black pepper
2 teaspoons brown sugar

Cook over low heat for an hour stirring often.  Don't boil.

Variety is the spice of life.  They all good.  Sweet, hot, vinegar based, tangy, or any combination mentioned.
