I got my cheap ghetto Dell that works for me.

How much did they savage you for?

And Yes, Macs can break

I do some processor-intensive work so I need some power...if all I did was surf the net I woulda just got a netbook of some kind.

Yeah they can break...but my MacBook is over 3 years old and still going strong.

Very nice! My Father and I were drooling over the 24" model a few weeks back. I'm trying to convince him to switch to a Mac.

3.06Ghz CPU and 4Gb of memory? That sucker should fly!

I'm off to Crucial to order 4Gb for my Macbook. It's only 2.4Ghz CPU, but it's still faster than my desktop PC.

Yeah they can break...but my MacBook is over 3 years old and still going strong.

Please don't tell me you paid over $2,000 for a Core 2 Duo machine?

You know you can get a quad-core Core i7 system that will blow it away and run cooler at a lower clock speed, right?

I use a 24" iMac at school, it is nice, but I perfer my PC.

Best of luck with it, but get the Applecare warranty anyway.

More likely than not, you're gonna love it and it's gonna treat you right though.

Monday or so I'm gonna take the screen off a black macbook with a blown motherboard, and the whole lower end of a white macbook with a busted screen. "It's gonna look funny" about covers it.

If I get real bored, maybe I'll checkerboard the keys.

That doesn't have a damn thing to do with your new iMac, but I've been drinkin and I don't care. Deal.

That's like tellin a guy who bought a Tacoma and wants to haul some wood occasionally with his daily driver that he shoulda bought a surplus five ton truck.

And frankly, a SHITTY five ton truck at that.
