I saw that earlier on the news. It was a little weird that he got the money from the ins company and he thinks once he fixes it they will try and take it.
Even though they said they would not. Did anyone understand why he thought that? |

Did you not hear the part where the Ins company paid him 16 million for it because he could not get it out of the area? Well, if he gets it out of the area, he will need to give the 16 Million BACK... Here's the deal...The insurance company WILL NOT be wanting the boat back...lol...They WILL want the 16 Million back (maybe minus the $250,000 he probably needed to spend to get the boat out.) That guy was a completely insane dumbass. |

Just like if you total your vehicle and the bank pays you to replace it, they have paid him to replace his boat. They did not pay him to fix the boat. Once they paid him for the loss of the boat, the remains of the boat belong to the insurance company. |
