What's the trend? Are things improving?

I'm considering buying a couple of cases of .45 ACP, but I don't need it now, so if the ammo supply is stabilizing, I don't want to jump the gun.

Any thoughts?

Considering that your state just passed the "Ammo Fire sale" Law...I'd be buying everything I could get my hands on...even pebbles for my slingshot..

Well, seeing as you're in CA, if governator signs that bill into law, you won't be buying ammo through the mail anymore.

You may want to stock up.

It will be worth more than gold on the black market

May as well buy some, it might not  come down in price where you live.

I'm pretty sure the Governator will veto the ammo ban, along with a slew of other bills that do not address the budget, but even if the bill becomes law, it doesn't take effect until February 1, 2011.

So, still, no rush.

Its funny that the local wal mart has had Win Wht box 9mm or 8.99 50 for 2 years but all the big chain stores and even Green top are gauging people at 18.99 box for blazer.....now that demand is down there is some in stock at all 3 walmarts in my area... they never raised there prices... maybet they took a loss but i doubt it...

Things aren't improving in California, that's for sure.

Otherwise, I've noticed a slight improvement.

Supply is better, at walmart, gander, etc... prices on the other hand, not so much.

Wolf is a little cheaper, $20-$50 per K at best.

Yeah... I stopped at $125/K on Wolf, let me know when it's back to $85/K

I was at a gun store last weekend and they were saying primers just came down a few bucks.  I'm just sitting back, hoping prices come down some.  Then I'll buy a shitload before inflation sets in and prices us out of the market entirely.
