My cat can identify it as she watches me walk up with the groceries through my kitchen window.

She hops up on the table and start pawing at the damn thing.

I cut it open, and she'll eat a ton of the stuff.

...but only if I hold it for her to enjoy.

I haven't tried giving the cat watermelon, but the dog will eat corn on the cob like a person if you hold it for him

I actually haven't found a fruit/vegetable that he won't eat...but the corn is funny

We never thought to offer it to her until we caught her jumping onto the counter to get to it. Very uncharacteristic of her.

Yeah next time I have sweet corn I'll try to get it on video.
I just discovered it over the past holiday weekend.
I know we got some pictures of my mom feeding him like that, I'll see if I can get one of them to post.

Same with a calico I had some time ago. Just cantaloupe too, never watermelon or anything similar. Friggin weird too, because I've never heard of cats going after sweet stuff very much other than melons.

Our cat won't eat anything other than dry cat food.

I've tried giving her bits of fresh fish, milk, fruits, beef, chicken etc....

She'll smell it then just walk away like she couldn't care less.

My cat loves cake (of all kinds)..She totally loves corn on the cob..Bread..Doritos, Ice cream..Taco Bell....All sorts of stuff....It is really crazy...

She didn't used to be like that...But in her older age––-she eats junk food...*lol*
