Ok, so I have obtained a sweet German pewter beer stein that my great grandfather had. The stein is dedicated to Albrecht Durer (the artist) and it's got a picture of him, his house, and two other locations. I have no idea how much this thing is worth, so I thought maybe you guys could tell me. I'm wanting to sell it on eBay.
Here are the pictures of it. 
Just a mark where a sticker has been

I googled some of the significant words on the labels and found this: Pewter plate of the same breed
Doesn't sound like you're going to find much monetary value in this thing. (I am NO expert and could be totally wrong  )
I'm not bashing you but, if I could make a suggestion, perhaps see if anyone else in the family would have any sentimental attachment to this thing before selling it? |

It's not worth much.
Look at the seam on the side...poor quality if you can see it that well. I'm guessing your Gramps got it in the mid 1970's, but very few things from the mid 1970's have any real value unless it's a house...and it's not a house. |

This looks like some commemorative stein that hasn't touched a drop of beer. If this was a stein he actually USED or (like the one I have from my grandpa) has his name engraved - then I would agree. Its just a dust collector. Not everything owned by your ancestors are heirlooms or carry emotional value. Trust me. We gave a ton of shit away from my grandparents two estates. |

Its too silver to be "old" true pewter with lead in it.
Probably made in the last 50 years based on the color offset printing on the paper. The date on the thing is the birth year of the artist its commemorating. $200.00 probably. |

post 1950, no country of origin stamping, looks like mold marks and flaws in the casting, I'd almost bet it wasn't made in Germany.

This doesn't appear to be something that would attain "heirloom" status, not unless you knew he picked it up when he was in the Occupation Forces, or some similar significance,
