anyone have the pic of a shithook picking/dropping off troops on top of a mountain? its a few years old
the thing wasnt touching ground except for ramp |

Cool...but how does it take on the weight of the water, the raft and the additional men without taking the pilot by surprise? How does the aircraft accomodate the varying load without crashing?

BTW was near the Chinook factory a few months ago in Philly (Chester area). Nothing like seeing a brand new Chinook flying down the Delaware River getting put through its paces. |

I have never seen anything like that. Thats one of those things that you wonder, who was dumbass that came up with that idea, yet it ends up working great. I had this POS LTC come up with the an idea to swim across a river in full battle rattle. He was a dumbass and that ended up being a bad Idea |
