Ames throwdown

Saturday night after the Iowa-Iowa state game my friends and I were walking around town checking things out. You could feel it in the air that something was about to happen so I pulled out the iPhone and had the camera ready. I didn't have to wait long. There are 5 videos in all. I had to cut the first one short because the police started bear macing people ten feet from me.

And I had several guys right behind me watching my six so nobody ran up on me. Most of the vid I've got the phone to my chest holding with both hands.

I went to school there and graduated in 1995, and man oh man has it changed. I never saw that many thugs when I was there. We had our problems like any college, but that looked like the west side of chicago not Ames Iowa. Sad sad sad.

I just remembered I have a buddy I swam with at ISU that is now a fireman at the firestation right there I need to give him a call. Every time I talk with him he bitches about the drunks on Welch running around. The funny thing is he was one of the worse offenders when we were there.

Right. White people NEVER gang up on people and always fight fair.

Never seen it to the extent that other folks do. The fights after the Rodney King verdict were brutal out of nowhere & 3-4 on 1. White guys would square up 1 on 1 with his opponent and the 2 or 3 King supporters would rush him.

Me.......I nailed the first guy with a pool cue. Chucked a pool ball at the next and GTFO the back fire exit with one of my roomates. Then watched the carnage from afar. Frat boys took a beating that day.

Fuck that shit. 9mm like a mutha in those situations.
